Painting with a limited number of colours is for me a pleasure and produces some of the most striking paintings. I've painted Snowy Mountain View using only four colours mixed to make a Prussian Blue. I used some water mixable oils for this, but if you have a tube of Bob Ross Prussian Blue and some Titanium White, you are all set to paint this.
Choose the canvas size that suits you best (I used a 16" x 20" in the video).
I also choose to demonstrate how to paint a mountain using a brush as an alternative to a palette knife.
Now the fun part! If blues are not your thing how about choosing to do this is painting in Alizarin Crimson or Phthalo Green. Maybe just use Midnight Black for a moody scene. You decide on the colour you like the best
hint: dark colours work best!
